Last Minute Gift Idea

If you’re looking for a quick, last minute idea for a teacher or co-worker gift, we have something that’s a perfect solution.  We have clear tubes with caps, just waiting for you to fill with something yummy and attach a ribbon and sticker.  Presto!  Instant gift. How about filling some with buttons, brads, and baubles for your crafty friends? The tubes sell for $1 each, making them an excellent choice for stocking stuffers.

Special Order Custom School Albums

We are taking pre-orders for Custom School Albums until this Friday at noon.
These will make excellent gifts for the students in your life.  Regularly selling for $28, we are offering them for $20 to anyone who pre-orders and pays by Friday at noon. Call the store at 580-310-9787, or come by and place your order before Friday.
We can take your credit card over the phone, and will charge it when the albums arrive in a couple of weeks.

The albums are postbound black fabric with a framed insert in your school colors. The wording on the front will have your school name and mascot.  For example, “Ada Cougars,” “Latta Panthers,” “Coalgate Wildcats.”  Since the wording won’t refer to “Highschool,” they will be appropriate to use for any of your favorite student’s scrapbook, regardless of age.

Christmas Card Making Frenzy
Saturday, November 27  10 a.m – 5:oo p.m. (come and go)

Get a jump start on your holiday card making!  We will have 10 tables
set up with supplies to make a different card on each one.  You will end
up with some beautiful and fun cards to send, while at the same time
learning new card making techniques. Each card will feature a
different technique.  Cost will be $1.50 for each card you make.  Make one
or make them all, limit 1 per style.  Here is a list of cards and the techniques that will be used for each one.

Card 1 -  Make a tri-fold card with bright, cheery Christmas papers
Card 2 - Dry-embossed card using our Cuttlebug embossing folders
Card 3  - Heat-embossed card using our embossing powders and heat tool
Card 4 -  Make using peel-offs and color with our Mica Powder watercolors
Card 5 -  Experiment with our Copic Markers to color this Christmas card
Card 6 - Stamp this card using our Christmas stamps from Just-Rite Stampers
Card 7 -  Stamp this card using a new Impression Obsession Christmas stamp
Card 8 -  Love those pop-up cards?  You’ll love this one!
Card 9 -  Stitch up a card using our new Crop Room sewing machine!

Hanging Calendar Class
Calendars Make GREAT Gifts for that 
special Parent or Grandparent!
Saturday, Dec. 4   1:00 – 5:00 p.m. $22.00

Make a hanging calendar using the Pinecone Press chipboard calendar kit.  Everything will be in the kit ready for you to put the calendar together.  You will need to bring 12 pictures, reduced or cropped to approx. 3.5” x 4.5”, one picture for each month.  If you need help reducing and printing your pictures to fit the calendar, bring your pictures on a USB Device to the store before Dec. 4 and we can reduce them and print them for you. It will cost .25 cents/picture to edit and print.  Picture files must be in jpeg or jpg, or
Photoshop (.psd) format.

Bring someone with you to help you work on the calendar if you want!  There will be no charge for the extra person.  This would be a great activity for mother and daughter to work on together.  Divide the calendar up and complete in half the time.
In addtion to the pictures, you will need to bring the following items to the class:  Paper trimmer, wet and dry adhesive, chestnut roan chalk, and glue dots.

Call the store or come by to sign up now so we can get your kit ready for you.  Deadline to sign up and pay is Tuesday, November 30.
