Classes for December Added!

Lance Anderson, formerly of Rusty Pickle is coming Tuesday, December 16 to teach two classes.  Below is the description of the classes that he has provided.  You don't want to miss out, so call the store at 580-310-9787 to sign up now and secure your spot!  These classes should be fun, and what a treat to have Lance offer to come spend time with us!

Canvas Creation Album
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
$40
Make a book from Scratch.  You will learn to bind a book using chipboard, canvas and bookbinding string.  We will "Sow" the pages into the spine teaching you how to easily create a book with a spine and binding.  The outside of this book is chipboard covered with paper and Canvas over the spine.  This is REAL BOOK BINDING and YOU CAN DO IT.  Fast and easy.  We are using the newest line of paper from Echo Park.  You will be embellishing this album to customize it for your pictures.  Join me for a few hours of fun and learning.  Sure to be a class to remember (and then make another on your own).

Tools needed:
Scissors,  Trimmer,  adhesive - including wet or a glue stick for the chipboard and a Hole Punch (i.e. Crop-a-dile) and distressing Ink.    Craft knife,  cutting mat,  ruler are optional for covering the chipboard album.

SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED!
POKER/Paper Piecer (we need some kind of poking device.  this helps to make the holes in the paper.  We do not want them too big.
Adhesive.   Red line tape or Score tape.  We need this for the spine.  Using Tape, keeps the book very clean.

(You can pick up most of these tools/supplies at the store if you don't already have them.)

Lance provided us with this link to his Flickr account so that you can see what the album will look like.
